Dave Kopp

As a licensed Land Surveyor, Dave came to the Yuba Goldfields in 1980 to design canals necessary for the movement of Dredge 21. He has since held the positions of Surface and Stripping Superintendent, Chief Mining Engineer, and Operations Manager. His responsibilities have included Placer exploration, ore reserve calculations, dredge course design and mine operation. Dave brings generations of knowledge and expertise, having been trained by industry leaders throughout his career.

He has done work all across North America and has consulted for the following South American properties:

• Equipment selection, installation, and personnel training for an extensive placer drilling project in Bolivia.
• Conducted an on-site assessment and proposal for sampling on concessions in Ecuador.
• Churn drilling program on the Yacuambi River in Zamora, Ecuador.
• On-site assessment of a recovery system and future exploration requirements to reactivate a placer operation at Cerro Mayal, Argentina,SA 

Currently Dave designs dredge courses for Dredge 17  and consults on future exploration and sampling at the Yuba Goldfields.
