Tony Massey

Over the past thirty years, Tony has worked in every aspect of large scale open pit placer mining. Throughout his career he has held positions of: operator, maintenance Superintendant, Dredge Master, General Manager and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of CalSierra Development (the largest placer mine in the northern hemisphere).

Over the years he has been a consultant for large and small mining companies as well as managed large scale construction projects, some of which include:

• Head consultant for Teichert Aggregates under water mining efforts in Northern California.
• Bucket Line Dredge consultant for Nova Gold in Nome Alaska.
• Feasibility study and commissioning of Hansen Industries Dredge #129 in Goodnews Bay Alaska.
• Clam Shell dredge for Western Aggregates in Northern California.
• Reconstruction of Yuba Dredge # 17 in 2007.
• California Natural Resources Corporation mining group in northern California.
